A humbling sacrifice

Pioneers from England, Spanish invaders, Native Indians, Slaves from Africa and Confederate Soldiers formed the main streams of people who formed and lived in Jamestown from the early 17th century until the Civil War was over. Life in Jamestown involved grueling sacrifice that is easy to forget as we bask in modern Virginia of today.
