Buying Unique Content from the Catalog
The content catalog is full of pre-written articles from thousands of different writers that you can buy and download instantly. This content is prevented from being indexed by search engines, so if an article is up for sales with Full Rights you can be sure that it's unique. Only verified members are able to preview articles. By becoming a verified member, you'll have access to an exclusive library of unique articles that you can immediately download and use. If you're short for time or would prefer to let a writer handle everything, the catalog is a great resource for you.
How to Find the Perfect Content
The article search uses keywords to search all available articles in the catalog to find those that contain your desired keywords. All you need to do is type in keywords that relate to your project and relevant results will pop up. If you scroll to the bottom of the search results page, you can filter search results by category to refine the results.
Once you perform a search you'll see a list of all articles that contain the keyword you searched for. For each one, you'll see:
- A summary of the article the writer has provided
- Word count
- The category (click to see more articles listed in that category)
- The writer (click their name to view their bio and catalog)
- License and pricing options
- The number of times an article has been downloaded by other clients
- Wishlist status (you can use this to save a list of articles you may want to buy later
Using the Advanced Search
On the search page you can click the Advanced Search option to filter your search results by the following additional criteria:
- Subject - restrict results to only those articles belonging to a specific category
- License Type - show only articles that have the selected license available
- Price Range - restricts results to articles that fall within a specified price range
- Word Count - restrict results to articles that fall within a specified word count range
These filters can be stacked on each other, so feel free to select any filters that will help in your search.
Browsing by Category
If you'd rather browse by category than search by keyword, just click on the name of the category in the left navigation menu. Within each category there are multiple subcategories you can also explore. The article listings display the same categories as those shown for the search results.
Previewing Articles
Whether you search for articles or browse the categories, once you click on 'View More' you'll be taken to the Article Preview Page. On this page you'll be able to see a preview of the actual content of the article. Writers are required to show at least 1/3 of their article in this preview, but most choose to show the full article.
*Note - to access the previews you'll need to have your account verified. To verify your account, contact your account manager or add credits to your account.
On the Article Preview Page, you'll also be able to see a keyword analysis of the article. This identifies which keywords appear most in the article, along with their density.
Watching for New Articles
Want to be notified when a new article is added to your favorite category, search result, or writer catalog? Here are two ways to be instantly notified:
- Category Watch Emails - these let you receive an email alert every time we add a new article in a category of your choosing. To specify which categories you want to watch, just visit the Edit My Account section in your account.
- RSS Feeds - we've enabled RSS feeds for every category, search result and indivual writer's catalog of articles. Anytime you see a list of articles, look at the top to find the Subscribe to RSS link and you'll be notified every time a new article is available.
Wishlist
The wishlist is a handy feature on the site that lets you save a list of articles that you can buy at anytime. When you're searching or viewing articles, just click the Add to Wishlist link and you'll be able to find the articles later under the My Wishlist link in your account.
Please note that if another customer buys an article on your wishlist it is automatically removed by the system.
Purchasing Articles
When you've chosen an article, all you need to do is choose the license you want and click 'Buy Now.' This adds the article to your cart and you can then use your credits to instantly purchase them.
Constant Content uses a credit system for purchasing articles. To buy articles from the site or issue requests for custom content, you'll need to upload credits. You can upload credits from https://www.constant-content.com/account/buyCredit.htm
Credits can be added in increments of $25 via PayPal, which allows you to pay with most major credit cards or a PayPal account. If you're a first time purchaser, you may need to verify your purchase by sending the email receipt to support@constant-content.com before credits appear on your account. If you have already spoken with your account manager and verified your account, this won't be necessary.
