Writer Biography
I have a BA in English Literature with Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in the UK. I love a creative turn of phrase and I have a keen eye for detail. Previously I have worked in magazine publishing, and was the editor of a niche craft magazine. I've also worked in office administration and as an Activity Coordinator in a nursing home. My fiction and nonfiction writing has been widely published, online and in print.
I have a special interest in the craft of writing, health and nutrition, travel, parenting/family life, and Christianity.
My fiction has appeared in publications such as Popshot Quarterly, Ellipsis Zine, Reflex Press and Funny Pearls. I won the 2023 Retreat West flash fiction prize and was nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
