Writer Biography
I'm a professional writer who has worked in the industry for over ten years. I started out copywriting for an in-house advertising agency, and was lucky enough to win a number of national awards (the Campaign Big Awards, Roses, CREAM, and Chip Shop).
About seven years ago, I jumped ship to a fund management company, where I wrote economic updates for investors, covered business news, and blogged regularly.
Five years ago, I decided to start freelancing. In that time I have published articles on a wide range of subjects for a number of international publications, like Hakai Magazine, WellBeing Magazine, and ADDitude.
I have a master's degree in philosophy from Staffordshire University, and wrote my dissertation on Michel Serres. I am also a certified NLP Master Practitioner and hypnotherapist, and practise both disciplines in my spare time.
I live in the Channel Islands with my beautiful wife, brilliant daughter, our two cats, and a rabbit. When I'm not spending time with this lot, or doing the above, I can usually be found playing the guitar, practising jujitsu, playing video games, or having a whiskey.
