Alexa West is a NY Times Bestselling author, freelance writer, and sometimes editor with over 20 years of experience in the field of fiction writing, ghostwriting, journalism, content creation, and training materials.

She enjoys crafting quality non-fiction content as well as short fiction, horoscopes, and new age guides, news blurbs, beauty and makeup advice, and snappy marketing copy.
Alexandria also excels at creating training materials that engage employees and make learning fun.

Alex lives in sunny South Florida with her toddler son and a mini-zoo of animals.

She is an animal rescuer and wildlife rehabilitator, a historian, specializing in the rich and often violent history of the American West and the Tudor Period, dabbles in Ancient history and anthropology, and is a literary aficionado and avid reader of all genres.

Alexandria is also a musician and classically trained mezzo-soprano, a talent she primarily uses in the shower.

Her education is in Law Enforcement with a specialty in crime scene investigation and forensic biology, and she has had plenty of real-world experience in the field before deciding writing was the career that called her home. As a single mother of a toddler with Down Syndrome, she has a full understanding of the struggles of parents with special needs kids and enjoys sharing research-based information that can help improve life for both kids and parents.
