DL Miller lived in southeastern Michigan for 33 years, Toronto, Ontario for seven years and Glasgow, Scotland for five years. She now lives in Nottingham, England.

Founded a ghostwriting business with 12 sub-contractors producing up to 100 edited articles per week. Edited two full-length books. Planned, wrote and illustrated six green building courses for LEED continuing education. Designed houses, additions and commercial building adaptations.
