Writer Biography
Eve Elliott is an award winning journalist whose career encompasses diverse reporting experiences including county government, campaigns and elections, environmental problems and forestry plans, and disaster coverage of fires, flooding and tsunami warning awareness. She is known for insightful coverage of social issues regarding the homeless, teenage drinking, elder care and poverty.
Elliott has taught moral development and life skills to prisoners in the Department of Corrections system. She has volunteered in battered women and teen runaway shelters and has been an energetic participant in adult literacy programs. She brings acute discernment, sensitivity and life experience to her writing.
