Lucas Rudy is a Global Studies student at Florida International University.
Lucas prides himself on his cultural awareness and global perspective, having lived in four countries in his lifetime: Italy, where he was born, Germany, England, and the United States. He attended high school in Vicenza, Italy, where he interned at the U.S. Army Garrison-Italy Public Affairs Office. During his time at the PAO, Lucas reported on community events, publishing articles on the www.army.mil/italy local news site as well as the U.S. Army Europe-wide www.eur.army.mil. He also managed the garrison Facebook page.
In his free time, Lucas enjoys playing tennis, studying Eastern philosophy, learning foreign languages, and practicing yoga. He is also an avid traveler. Lucas has visited over fifteen countries, including China, where he participated in the Yale University Young Global Scholars program.
