Writer Biography

Rachel is an award-winning creative director and writer of copy and content for household-name brands and online businesses.

With nearly fifteen years of experience in advertising, direct and interactive marketing and sales promotion, she writes high-impact brand stories designed for engagement, sharing and audience loyalty.

Her career dovetails with the rise of digital marketing and includes websites and mobile, indoor, outdoor, digital and print display advertising, SEO, PPC, social media, TV and video, catalogs, packaging, drip and trigger email campaigns, retail experiences and more.

Her work has shaped the force of some of the world's most beloved brands. At Royal Caribbean, the world's second largest cruise line, she elevated its boutique brand, Azamara Club Cruises, into an award-winning market presence.

She drove and created the messaging and content for the global digital relaunch of heritage brand, Davidoff Cigars. For Goya Foods, America's largest Latin food company, her writing more than tripled organic web traffic with quadrupled overall traffic through PPC advertising and in-store promotions.

She produces SEO, community and branded content for New Balance, MasterCard, Perfumania, Livestrong and several other popular global brands.

She began her career as a broadcast sales and script writer for television network HSN and spent nearly a decade working independently on multi-channel campaigns for advertising agencies in New York City.

A top graduate of the University of Tampa's writing baccalaureate program, she is the recipient of the University's Portfolio Award, and is certified in Digital Marketing by New York University.

She has also won an ADDY and a Magellan for her advertising and a Google Motion Picture Prize for her animated photography work, which has appeared in London's Saatchi Gallery.

She is a full-time resident of Miami, a frequent world traveler and a prolific organic urban gardener.
