Writer Biography

Tony Guerra served more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He also spent seven years as an airline operations manager. Among several professions in which he's spent time, Guerra is a former realtor, real-estate salesperson, associate broker and real-estate education instructor. He's also a car sales professional. Tony holds a master's degree in management, a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies and a graduate certificate in security management and homeland security.

As a former staff writer for Demand Media Studios, Tony has written for many media outlets. These include SFGate.com, the online version of the San Francisco Chronicle, where he specialized in real estate topics for its Homeguides section. He also wrote on a wide variety of career topics for Chron.com, the Houston Chronicle's online paper. The Global Post (business and management), The Nest Woman (salaries and other related subjects) and eHow have also published his articles. At eHow, Tony wrote on a seemingly endless variety of topics, running the gamut from flowers to swimming pools to mud bog racing. His travel articles can also be found on eHow as well as at USA Today.

In 2014, Guerra served as a political correspondent for PJ Media, where he covered the Wisconsin governor's race and Iowa's U.S. Senate race.
