A little more about me: I'm 25, new to freelance work in general, but eager to succeed. I'm currently working on a book as a side project (but who isn't, right?) and seeking out all opportunities to advance my career. I'm embarrassed to say that I got a bit of a rough start thinking that I had to start with horrible search engine fodder and move my way up, but I feel confident that I'm on my way now. With any luck, I hope to have a stable career within the next five years (and hopefully be onto my second book by then!
)I hope this community is as supportive as the Upwork community has been to me. I heard that the standards here were a bit higher, but as far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing.
