The requestor said they'd pay only up to $X for such a list, but because I had to make sentences and follow the article pricing guidelines, I was supposed to charge $2*X (two times as much). I listed the price within the pricing guidelines, so it will probably not sell to the requesting buyer, but who wins when there's a discrepancy between what a buyer demands to pay and what the guidelines demand we charge? How should I/we handle that?
We obviously don't want to undersell our work or become slaves to low-balling clients, but yet.. we want to sell our work, face it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!--LauraD
