New Update (8-17-05)

Post by constant-content »

Some major changes have been made to Constant Content!

Most importantly we have changed our percentages. Now writers receive 65%, referring authors 5%, affiliates 20%, and CC 10%. Now that our name is getting out there we can start paying the writers a little better, but all CC profits will continue to go right back into the site for advertising and development.

We have upgraded our requests feature in order to make the area more user-friendly for both you and the customers who ask for content. Constant-Content clients can post a request for website content at any time. When they do this, the request is first approved by us and then sent out to the writers. Those writers then choose to submit content based on the request. Now that the request feature has been updated, writers will be able to post questions to the requester. The requester will also be able to respond to those questions directly. Writers are now able to let customers know when they have completed and posted an article by posting a message to the requester (that can include a URL to the article).

Constant Content will now be purchasing articles from writers as well. If an article is dormant for a while we will consider purchasing the article ourselves. In this case we will only consider an article after it has been on Constant Content for at least a month. To start, we will be purchasing a large group in the next couple weeks.

Some other minor changes have been:

A much better search function
You can now add keywords to your article (for searches)
We have added a "Full rights" purchase option. When someone purchases a "Full Rights" license they are allowed to change the article, remove anything, resell it, take credit, and pretty much do what ever they want.

Almost all of these changes were from writers requests so please keep posting requests.

Thank you
Chris Ross
