Professionalism in the Forums

Post by Ed »

Writers,

I'll be brief.

Anyone who has been here more than a few minutes knows that there is an overall attitude of professionalism that you are also expected to exemplify. Visitors to the forums should not be subject to hypersensitivity, paranoia, aggression, "you started it," or any other reaction that is not representative of self-control. If you make or take forum interactions, rejections and corrections, staff decisions, or anything else that occurs on CC too personally, then it is your responsibility to walk away from the computer until you can trust yourself not to begin a lower level of discourse.

If you choose to misuse Constant Content's forums or messaging system to disparage, insult, threaten, or otherwise abuse another, I will recommend that you be banned from using the forums and your writer's account be put on probation.
