Wordy Words

Hi Writers,

This "wordy words" list offers solutions to words and phrases that send up the wordiness flag to editors and will help you remove the clutter from your writing.

While alternatives are suggested for some words and phrases, many of them can simply be deleted. Two of my favorites that aren't on this list are "quite" (by itself) and "a bit." I'm sure you have some favorites, too. Please share!
