I'm always unclear whether we're really supposed to write short summaries for requests anyway. I do, but it always feels like a pointless exercise since the person who requested the article obviously knows what it's going to be about.
For private ones you don't. I do if I think maybe it won't sell, but for a private request where I've had back and forth, I just put something general in the short description like "title for x customer."
