How long does it normally take to get accepted?

I'm just wondering how long it takes to get accepted if your writing sample is good enough.

I know it says that they'll get back to you within five days, however, I've read their review process can sometimes be slow.

I can't say, as I joined a while ago. But I think maybe you are looking at posts about the editorial process that each submission goes through, rather than the initial vetting? Anyway, I imagine they let you know either way, and the best course is probably to start getting some submissions ready...you could always use them elsewhere if you need to. Good luck!
