Would someone please explain what you do when you're writing an article for a request. Do you just submit it as usual and then, in the "Suggestions & Request" thread mention that you wrote an article for it, so the customer can see it? Thanks very much.

Yes, exactly. In addition, if there is anything special included for the request that may contradict the guidelines, just mention that in the short summary as well (like "links per request").
