Favorite Websites?

Post by krista »

Do any of you have websites that you refer to often for grammar, punctuation, and other writing issues? Any websites you find particularly helpful in becoming a better writer?
Thank-you!

Purdue's Online Writing Lab is an excellent resource: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/

I become a better writer by becoming more informed as a person. I started out with a lot of big websites like Realtor.org, CNN.com, Forbes.com, etc. And I always read what Yahoo is posting on its top page for readers. I think they have a good idea what is on people's minds. When you can match your writing skills with popular culture, you can turn academic and personal writing into strong web writing.
