how do i change my username?
How do I change my username? Now that I see people have normal names here, it seems sad to have a username with random numbers in it (which I used because once upon a time in college I was assigned it, and it's the one I can always remember.) I've trawled through the FAQ's. Help! I want a normal, friendlier username!

You can change your pen name by logging in, going to "Edit My Account" and then clicking the link that says, "Change via Support." That opens a form where you can submit your request and support will change it. As far as the name in the forum, I'm not sure. I'd start by clicking the "User Control Panel" and exploring that area.

I don't think you can change your name on the forums. You would probably have to just make a new forum account with the name you wanted and ask Support to delete your old account.
