How Do You Write A Review Without it Being Promotional?

I just became a Contant-Content writer. I love the challenge of this. My first article was rejected for some formatting errors, and some typos and grammar errors. I think I have a grasp on this. I was being hasty, which I gather will get me banished, right?

But one thing, they said my article was promotional, and Costant Content doesn't accept promotional stuff. They also said NOT TO RESUBMIT IT???? I dont understand. My question is: How do you write a review without it being promotional? Does anyone have suggestions? And does anyone know why they would request me to NOT submit it again, instead of a re-write? Just curious... so I don't get banished.

I think to avoid the promo accusation (I get that sometimes from other sites) that you have to throw in the cons...like a pros and cons type thing.
