Need Clarification on Citing Websites as Sources

Post by RobertCade »

Hi, my article "All Exercise Routines Must Change" was rejected for two reasons: a misused semicolon and the presence of website addresses.

I see how a colon was probably better suited than semicolon, but my citation seems to be appropriate per the following statements:

"If you must, remove the “http://www” in front of the address, even if you use websites for references."
http://www.constant-content.com/blog/20 ... -articles/

And the discussion here: http://www.constant-content.com/forum/v ... ites#p7524

I cited the websites in MLA format without the http://www and did not make them links. They support health related statements that I made, so I think they need to be included. Sources include Mayo Clinic website and Georgia State University website.

Thanks.

If your article was rejected for including links, then your references were preceded by the http://www, which was the reason for this rejection. It may be possible you didn't save the file or uploaded the incorrect file. Please try again.

Thanks,
