Re: Copyscape-checked 'unique article' rejected for plagiarism

Perhaps these forum threads will shed some light on theories regarding plagiarism. http://www.constant-content.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=21041 http://www.constant-content.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=21152 http://www.constant-content.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18241 There are o...

Re: Can someone buy an article from Constent Content and Sell it

Howdy, Shafin. I don't think there's anything explicit in the C-C rules that says you can't do this, but I would add that we're a small community here (not like some other writing sites). If you buy an article that was previously submitted to the editors and re-submit it under your own author name, ...

I like that idea. I'd re-categorize a few of mine, too.

Re: Are my articles good enough?

You can't open two accounts with the same information, and if you open a new account with new information and they connect the two you'll be suspended again. Please don't do that. Support will probably respond to your message soon but they have a backlog, so it could be a while. If you were suspende...

Re: Are my articles good enough?

ThinkingBreak, it's never a good idea to post even part of the text of an article in the forums. Google indexes these pages and you wouldn't be able to offer full rights to the articles to potential buyers. I'm going to delete the text so it doesn't get indexed, but here are my comments for you: Pro...

Re: Change Bio/Image problem?

Howdy, Melody and Tim! Welcome to C-C. We've undergone some very nice changes to the site recently (migrated to a new server, instituted some new protocols, etc.). It's possible your difficulties with your bio photos stem from that. Send a message to support through the Contact Us link. Now, a while...

Yay! I know how it goes--you get caught up in a tiny detail and suddenly everything just seems all wrong. It's for sale now, so just wait for the money to come in. :)

Affiliate referrals

Remember this discussion we had a while back about affiliates, referrals, and recruited authors? http://www.constant-content.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18071 C-C must keep the referring link cookie forever because I accidentally clicked on the nice yellow "Want to Write For Us?" but...

Re: CC rule for date formatting?

I hear ya. That doesn't seem quite right to me, either, but then 30th of November is mixing it up too. Celeste is always quoting the Yahoo Style Guide, so here's what they have to say about date formatting: Americans order dates with the month first, so we would style your example exactly as you did...

Re: CC rule for date formatting?

Dates go along with style conventions for your particular brand of English language usage. In the United States, you'd probably write Monday, March 28, 2011. For UK English, I think you dyslexia it to Monday, 28 March 2011. But I'm not a UK English speaker, so correct me if I'm wrong. Stick wi...

Re: Key Word Phrases

Keyphrases are separated by commas, so it's "blood pressure". Think of it in terms of how a customer might search for articles, so if the individual words in a keyphrase are also important put them in the keywords box too. For example, "heart surgery" could be "heart surgery...

Re: Request Help With Commas

Howdy! In your first example, you're creating a compound sentence. You could remove the ", and" and replace it with a period like this: "anyone. People" and it would read right. So the comma is correct. In your second example, the commas make it feel like a runon sentence (too ma...

Re: Licensing question

Your letter was highly respectful. Good on ya. It looks like that site has been dumped by its originators and left to run in hopes of AdWords clicks. Contact C-C support to find out if there's anything they can do to complain to Google--Google hates spammers, or so they say, and can disable AdWords ...
