Improving A Poor Sales Rate
I've been trying to make it here at CC for about five months or so, and in some ways I've done great. I've learned how to handle the editors and it's a long time since any of my articles have been turned back for anything at all. I'm also writing enough per day that it seems like I should be able to...

Re: 108 hits!
If articles sit on the front page for a long time, they will get tons and tons of hits. I think that's the main driver of high hit totals. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to mean too much in terms of selling. I had an article with over 1000 hits, no sales… and another that sold with 0 hits. That one s...

Re: editing usage price
Not letting us change usage prices doesn't make any sense. I have one article that's seasonal and has already sold three times. There's no reason it should be at its current price.

Re: Anyone doing these G/O Digital Requests?
Looks like all the wstreatment articles got claimed very quickly, so I figure people must've had good experiences last time to be so confident to claim them this time around.

Re: Anyone doing these G/O Digital Requests?
Is it normal for articles that can be 'claimed' with the yellow button to not be bought by the customer requesting them? I thought that if you claimed articles in that way it was generally assumed they would end up buying the piece (unless of course you seriously botched it or something)… Honestly, ...

Re: Site Issues?
I can see a public request posted on 7th Feb under notifications and in my email inbox - Alternate Health and Wellness - but when I click on it there are no details. It goes to the requested content page but there are no details. Hope this is cleared up soon as I was hoping to write for this. Well,...

Re: Having a Lot of Trouble :(
This thread was posted yesterday discussing the issues: https://www.constant-content.com/forum/ ... =2&t=77096
Therein Constant says the problems should be fixed, though, so I don't know what's going on.

Re: Anyone doing these G/O Digital Requests?
I'm in the same boat. I spent a pretty good amount of time trying to figure out what they wanted, but I just don't get what exactly we're supposed to write about, or from what perspective. Also, quite frankly, at the listed price for that word count, the articles aren't a great deal for authors. I w...

Re: Rights and Legitimate Use
I was confused about that for quite a while too. The one time I did search for one of my articles and found it posted unattributed, I thought I'd been cheated – until I poked around the forum and realized that I had to actually include the byline myself. That's one of those things that it would be b...

Re: Rights and Legitimate Use
I haven't bothered to search for any of my articles recently so I haven't personally run into this issue, but I think when it's come up on the forum before people have said to contact CC itself when this happens.

Re: Problems Accessing Inline Comments
You could try including a note to the editor in the Short Summary. Some people on this forum have mentioned that as a way to communicate with the editor, though others have said they got scolded for doing so. Recently I tried it because there was an issue I was worried the editor would think I was i...

Re: Problems Accessing Inline Comments
I think they need to fix/change the system, though. I can see the comments, but they don't line up correctly at all. Frequently it's hard to tell what the editors are referring to, and I have to go through the article line by line, trying to figure out which sentence their comment could be referring...

Re: Customer/Author Support
Is the search bar different in the Writing Ideas area…? Isn't there just the one search bar that shows up on all parts of the site?

Re: Customer/Author Support
How do you tell if an article has or hasn't been released? If an article under My Content still says it's "For Request ___" does that mean it's stuck?

Re: Problems Accessing Inline Comments
The comments seem to be a little wonky and sometimes get 'stuck' to the side, but I've always been able to at least see all of them. Maybe try a different browser?
