Re: Requested Edit to Article by Client, Advice Much Appreciated

You should include a note to Ed when: 1. You have resubmitted a previously accepted article with changes. Include a brief description of the changes you have made. 2. When a customer likes your piece but wants you to do something crazy, like add embedded links. In this case, it is preferable to have...

We do not accept opinion-based or editorial-style content.

Please check the "recently sold" list to see which topics are trending.

Re: What is an "Op-Ed?

Basically, we do not accept opinion-based or editorial-style content. From our sometimes friend Wikipedia: An op-ed, abbreviated from opposite the editorial page (though often believed to be abbreviated from opinion-editorial), is a newspaper article that expresses the opinions of a named writer who...

Re: How much are we worth?

There will always be low-ball offers. Everyone knows someone who doesn't think there's any harm in "just trying." Maybe its that guy at the bar who tries to pick up the same girls week after week. He's "just trying," he'll tell you, but he probably doesn't get many dates and no o...

Re: New and slightly confused

No, I saw it. Thanks for removing it. Information about location of and byline that appears on previously published content is irrelevant. Our checks determine if we can accept content based upon if the author has heeded the rules of our licensing structure and how the article appears elsewhere. As ...

Re: Article rejected for spelling errors or typos...

Maybe you submitted the wrong file? A draft copy? If the errors appear upon resubmission, I can point them out for you. However, I think you would have found them by now if we were looking at the same document. Seems to me this was a case of trasnposde lteters.
