Hi Kinsley,
I did spell proofread wrongly. Thank you for the advice - I will try that. Joining Grammarly
has helped.

How Do You Close Your Account?
Hello everyone,
I have had a few rejections lately and I'm finding the C-C process quite stressful at the moment. I am seriously thinking of
closing my account. How do I do this? Can I get my unsold articles back?

Re: The Writer/Editor Relationship
Hello everyone, I also think that the editors should read the whole article before they send it back. It's very nerve-racking to revise, resubmit and then have to wait yet again to see if the article is accepted. I am quite tired of it at the moment. Has your experience of C-C improved, Tcm? I hope ...

Hi Lauren,
Is this offer still available? I would love to have you look over an article in return for a testimonial.

Re: Making lots of stupid mistakes! Brain freeze?
I hadn't thought of hiring someone to proof-read. That might be the answer, although it will take more hard-earned money away!

Re: Making lots of stupid mistakes! Brain freeze?
This is happening to me as well. It's really concerning. I went overseas and thought that my articles might improve when I came back, but I had an article rejected very quickly. I'd gone over it with a fine-tooth comb and put it through Paper Rater, but even that didn't work. I'm finding it all so n...

Re: Grammer and spell tools available
I have been using Paper Rater too, but it hasn't pointed out any faults and I've received a string of rejections lately. It's worth trying but
don't count on it.

Re: String of Rejections
Thank you so much for your kind answer. I am quite scared to submit anything now but I would
like to keep writing for a particular client. It looks like I may have to have a good look at other
writing sites, in case.
Is it possible to apply again after being suspended? I hope so!

String of Rejections
I've recently had a string of rejections that surprised me. I decided to read through the Guidelines again and try much harder but I'm feeling extremely disheartened. The last rejection was because I wrote '1970's' instead of '1970s'. I used English grammar and spelling and I really thought that the...

Re: What might be the reason for rejecting this article?
Hi Jatelo, It's an interesting subject so it's certainly worth revising the article and resubmitting it. I'm probably not the right person to help because I've been getting rejections lately. I did notice a few things, however. I noticed a few typos, for example. Developer should be "developer&...

Re: Self-Editing for CC Success
Hello everyone, I'm upset because I've had a few rejections lately. I'm wondering if I need an 'editing buddy' and whether anyone is interested? Some of my sentences are 'ambiguous' and that is what has really upset me. I have revised the article and I hope that it will be accepted but I am feeling ...

Price for Private Client
Hello everyone, I have been writing articles for a private client for a while. I noticed that I am not charging the maximum price on the client's price range for the requests. I don't like to suddenly start charging this, however. What do others think about this? Should I discuss the price range wit...
