Re: Demonstrative structures, "This," "It," "That."
isabelnewth, I don't think using "this" instead of "that" is the problem - based on what I've seen coming back to me, I think that either one of your suggestions would have been rejected. I suspect that CC is trying to tighten up the writing here. Either that, or there's a new ed...

Re: question about recent high volume orders
Thanks evaku! Do you just add words in between, or do you actually change the order of your keywords? I'm working with a long-tail keyword now that's a bit awkward...it would be much easier to switch the order up a bit. So...for (bad) example... Could "solar panels cheap electricity" be sw...

question about recent high volume orders
How do you deal with awkward keywords? Do they have to be written in that specific order, or do you add small words in between to make them read better? For instance, if your keywords are "solar panels cheap electricity", it's hard to put them in a natural-sounding sentence without stickin...

Re: Demonstrative structures, "This," "It," "That."
Yep, I've had three articles bounced back to me this week for using "this". While I do agree with some of the edits, I'm not sold on all of them. ("them" being the edits ) I don't mind making the changes at all - so long as I don't suddenly get banned for overuse of demonst...

Re: Issues With "Wordiness" Anyone?
CC sent out an email a few weeks ago asking us to tighten up our writing for these writer pool requests, so I suspect it has to do with that. I had two articles bounced back to me for clarity issues (my first since starting back again in March). And the editor was right - my articles were better aft...

Re: What sells well?
A client does mass purchases every month (hundreds of articles) for energy, credit cards and insurance. I'd say that those are a pretty good bet, since the catalogue is pretty well dry. I uploaded an article for a writer's pool request on home insurance, and I accidentally forgot to mark it for a re...

Mistake in one of my articles
I noticed a factual error in one of my articles. What's the easiest way to fix it? Should I remove the article altogether, change it and resubmit it?

When to hit "complete" on a claimed request?
I'm not quite sure about the private request / writer pool request flowchart. I know that I claim it, then submit it, then it's automatically sent to the client. Do I click on "complete" when it's made it past the editor and been sent to the buyer? Or do I only click on "complete"...

Re: Rejected & suspended in minutes. Is my article that bad?
Don't decide that writing isn't for you based on this site. Content writing is a very specific type of writing. I know plenty of very good writers who would have a hard time writing here - not because writing isn't for them, but because THIS type of writing isn't for them. Good luck with whatever it...

Maybe they'd be willing to hear you out. If you've already had articles accepted and purchased, you'd think that they'd give you a chance to improve. Good luck!

Re: Rejected & suspended in minutes. Is my article that bad?
Hi HannahB! I'm sorry that you've been suspended. I took a look at your article, and while it doesn't seem terrible to me, there are multiple small errors and it doesn't always flow well. Take my feedback for what it's worth; I'm no expert. and other writers will surely disagree with some of my sugg...

That does seem bizarre. I don't understand why they wouldn't have offered you the chance to clean it up and resubmit it. Maybe it was a mistake? Please let us know when they get back to you! I'm very curious!

Re: Has CC seen better days?
I wondered the same thing at first- why the forums were so quiet. I guess they're just a different kind of forum!
