Is this correct?

Hi Friends, I got a rejection for my article about Microsoft Office today. Here's the rejection note I got: We do not accept content with grammar errors. Be consistent with verb tense and avoid awkward/ungrammatical tense shift. Ex: Fewer books, not less books http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resou...

Re: How much are we worth?

The time when I will be selling an article for $4 will be when that article is a paragraph with thirty words in it. If it has 400 words, then normal going rate will be about 50 dollars. It's worth it, because of the extensive research and editing required to get an article accepted here.

Re: Request for help editing a sentence.

No, As long as we have a word to describe sign language (sign using hands), we should stick with the sense that 'speaking' is a mouth activity. In any other context, 'speaking' automatically takes the default, understood meaning. So I suppose you don't need 'using mouth' there. Just my suggestion. T...

Re: Request for help editing a sentence.

Here's the sentence: "The muscle control required for a baby to speak, using his mouth, is more complex than the muscle control required for a baby to sign using his hands." Correction: The muscle control required for a baby to speak is more complex than that required for him(her) to sign...

Yea. I love this suggestion too. I believe many customers just go home after just a search not finding what (s)he wants. But I believe since many searches are made, the list will be enormous??

Editing published content

Hi Ed, One of my recent articles for a private request was accepted. The customer however requests a slight edit in the first part of the content. His mail goes so: -------- Hello Lenin, one comment about article "E-paper technology: Tomottow's Paper". I think there is too long citation in...

Some Grammar queries after rejected article

Hi, I have two articles rejected recently for errors. I would like to post some of the sentences on these articles (for a private request) that I think caused the rejection. Could someone please look at them and suggest if I am right? 1. Since only the registered, paid e-book reader can read this e-...

Re: Celeste, Hayley, and others, an interesting thing!

Oh yes, you people are talking about the British. hehe. I was actually referring to the West in general you know. We here learn the most basic form of English, and some of our writers may mix and match with styles to invent their own styles. I really can't figure out the difference between American ...
