Re: Private Requests Not Showing
Hi, I'm SO sorry for you! When this happened to me I looked under "my projects" and "requested content" to see if I could find mine hiding somewhere. Also, try under "notifications" so you can see if there was a private request sent to you. I found through notifications...

Re: Quick question about Writer Pool Requests
Hi Anthony, I don't know how no-one saw your post! I'm sorry about that. It's obviously too late to help now, but how did you go with your article? In future if you can't find much information in the request description, click on My Projects, then find your writer pool project in the drop down box. ...

It was based on Jane Austen's Emma, as you probably know! Very English.

Re: Plagiarism rejection for unpublished content
I'm confused about where the content originally came from. If your mate bought it from someone for full rights then ended up submitting it here, I guess it was initially posted somewhere online for him to find it and buy it. So my guess is that's why it was flagged at CC - it has already been somewh...

Re: Writer Pool Problems
I feel for you, Jasmine! Bringing forward a deadline is SO difficult when we're already busy with other things in life or other writing jobs.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend anyway.

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
My impression of the editor's revision of the first sentence is that they're trying to avoid saying "you". So that might be something they want you to consider. I am not sure that this part of the editor's version works well: "...which causes his thyroid to malfunction and for the doc...

Re: Request via Inbox
I think the best way is to reply to the customer and ask them to set up a private request (it's their job, not yours). My private client had to do exactly that. She got assigned an account manager I think, and set it up with him, then it showed up on my requests page. Does that help?

Thanks, Lysis. The glasses sound interesting. I have no problem with people walking around talking to themselves. I used to be a mental health nurse 15 years ago and I miss it sometimes!

Re: So, I appreciate invites, but...
Your customer must have wondered where you were! I was on the phone today ordering pet food and my cat placed her own order by screeching at the phone the whole time.
So do you like your Google glasses? I was wondering what they're like "in person" instead of just reading the reviews.

Re: Question about submitting for private requests
I see what you mean. I like getting paid monthly but I'm sure you can go into your account and select fortnightly pay instead of monthly.
