Re: Rejected for "wrong font size" and unnecessary line brea

I have had that happen a few times, and this is how I solved it. Once the article was pasted into the CC submit box, I highlighted the entire article. Then I hit the remove formatting button. It is the twelfth little box from the left. It is a light blue A with a little orange circle at the bottom r...

Re: Customer Making Odd Requests?

Contact support right away and explain what is happening. I would expect they know just how to handle such a client and prevent him from bothering you in the future.

Re: Rejection for using him or her - his and hers

Maybe they are getting antsy and want to aim towards gender neutral articles.

Rejection for using him or her - his and hers

I got what I thought to be a strange rejection for using him or her and his and hers. I was told to use them and they. Oh well, it is almost a new year!! :)

Re: A plea to CC editors

The rejections that really bother me the most are the ones based on the editor's personal opinion. I had one article on parents teaching their children to eat healthy and the editor rejected it because he or she did not feel parents have the time or inclination to lecture to their children about hea...

Re: How can a writer upgrade Access Level?

Well, I have written over 1230 articles, have over a 90% sell rate and my access is level 3. Every so often it goes up to a 2, but within a few hours or a day it is back at 3. I'm not sure if it is controlled by a computer or people make the decision.

Re: Confused Customer- how do I answer her?

I always post 100%. When I first started with CC, I only posted 1/3. After a few weeks, I decided to up it to 100% as an experiment because I would never buy something if I couldn't see it all first. My sales immediately went up and so I have left it at 100% and it has been profitable. Clients are n...

Re: Liability protection for authors?

Why would you be sued? Unless you are plagiarizing another writer's work, slandering someone's name, or writing out and out lies, I cannot imagine anyone needing to worry about being sued. When I was a journalist for many years, either the newspaper or broadcast firms carried liability against fraud...

Re: Green font color on new site

I agree! I can read the requested content page well enough to eliminate cut and paste for me! And I do so appreciate that. Thanks Eric and CC for addressing issues so quickly.

Re: Green font color on new site

Hi Eric, Thanks for your input. For me the green is annoying, but tolerable. The real difficulty is trying to read the gray text, which is difficult for me because there is so little contrast with the background. I have to cut and paste everything into my text editor to be sure I can read it correct...

Re: Green font color on new site

It's very difficult for me to read the site now. I do have vision problems, and even with my new glasses I have to cut and paste the requested content onto notepad so I can read it. I doubt I'll be participating in many pools. By the time I cut and paste to see what the request says, it will already...

Re: Green font color on new site

I am having difficulty with the light gray text. I have vision issues and even with my almost new glasses I am straining to read.
