Confused!
Has anyone else experienced a post they made on the forum apparently being deleted? Am I going crazy? I posted a reply (I thought) to someone who was concerned about the rate of pay for a project, and the other poster's and my post in reply have vanished! Spooky!

Re: Green font color on new site
Just chiming in with the majority to say that I hope all the green font text throughout the site can be changed to something else with better contrast! Thanks for putting in the direct link to requests. That page isn't user-friendly though, as others have said. I also wanted to mention that due date...

Re: Adding Your Byline After Article Appears in Your Catalog
That's funny, I was exactly the same! I try to remember to put it in these days, but I don't think you can put it in after approval without deleting and resubmitting.
If you find out different, do let me know.

Re: Limits on Articles Submitted?
I think you should go for it and well done for the sales! There seems to be an element of the random as far as getting past the editors is concerned, but I don't think submitting 5 a day would be out of order in terms of bulk, though I myself would find it hard to keep up quality control for too lon...

Re: Keyword Phrases
Hi, I assume you are writing on spec rather than for a request, as you mention buyers finding the article, and you mean the keywords that you enter near the bottom of the submission form. I don't think the editors particularly pay attention to the words you put in as key words on the submission form...

Access level for requests
Anyone experienced promotion to a higher access level for requests? I believe the level you were originally given (pretty low in my case) reflects a number of factors. But is there any evidence out there that it's ever reviewed? Not seriously grumbling, just idly wondering! Cheers, all.

I am an old Englishwoman, but Clueless is in my top five films, and I believe it has many lessons for us all.

Re: Another Missed Payday?
Parts of Canada have a civic holiday today, so maybe that's the reason as CC is Canadian-run? Anyway, it isn't just you who has been skipped, so hopefully tomorrow!

Re: Vanishing Writer Pool Requests
I was disappointed not to nab any of these requests (assuming they are from the same customer)....I tried to log into the site and claim some but I couldn't get on to it for ages and then my claims weren't registering. This happens when it's very busy, happened last time there were loads of these re...

Re: Writer Pool Problems
Same thing happened to me a few months ago....the email bringing the deadline forward was a general one to all the writers in the pool and I didn't actually notice it until I got a long distance phone call to ask where the articles were, to my shock!
It is definitely unfair!

Re: $25 requests
I dont think that $25 minus the cut could ever be okay for 1700 words however expert you are. But if I read the request wrong and it was really $150 then I apologise! I just saw the price and the word count. It was about real estate.

Re: $25 requests
Oh yes, that's true, I forgot. There is so much work in the pipeline that I will be able to spend the rest of my life churning out flawless prose all day every day on fascinating topics for $16 before tax! Oh joy!
