Public Request Question

I only see 1 page of public requests. Is this all we can see? The other day I saw a request for an article and started to write for it. I always wait until the next day or 2 to re-edit with a fresher brain. By the time I re-edited it I went to submit it and the request was no longer in the list. I h...

Re: I need some help

If you can't pay money for an editor, get a friend whose English is better but offer them a "cut" if you sell it. You will have money if it sells. Perhaps part of that money needs to be set aside for your proofreader.

Summary

I had a piece rejected because my summary was too short. I know it says minimum 3 sentences but I've seen others with less. How does theirs get accepted with just a sentence?

Re: Aaaargh!!! Can anyone help?

I also use semi colons. Thought I read a rule about no dashes in titles somewhere.

Anyhow, a good solution might be to make up a brand new title. If he never got past the title anyhow this might present as a 1st time submission.

How does CC draw Clients?

How does CC make its services known to potential clients?

Is there anyway we can help promote it more so that we can get more buyers for our great stuff?

Re: Non-PayPal Offer and Too High $ Offer?

sounded like an Elance type looking for spamming material to me. Especially the overly strong words "Plagiarism will not be tolerated and you will be terminated immediately" and the fact he didn't have the right grammar himself.

If you are interested "than" kindly reply...

I wonder if the one that stole it is the same person that I rejected the offer of?

Re: what happens to an article that has been re submitted?

Is it showing up in your content? Sometimes we forget to fill in a blank and it says on top we forgot something, but if we don't pay attention we miss it and the item doesn't get submitted. I did that before. I always check my content after a submission to make sure it went through. Then it should s...

Change of Price

I was asked by someone if I would sell an article at a lower price. This was not one I had "or best offer" checked off. They emailed me about it. I told him ok and went into my content to lower the price. What method should I have used to give this one person a lower price for "use&qu...

Re: Why is my article status 'waiting'?

I'm not sure of the waiting except to say I also have 2 waiting. I think they might be in a potential buyer's shopping cart. At least that's what I'm hoping.

As for the other question, I keep in my "favourites" www.libraryonline.com and refer to their writing tips or grammar sections.

Pacing submissions

I'm wondering how to realistically pace article submissions. I have a lot of pent up writing to release since I've been trying to break into writing for several years now and have a lot in my computer to repurpose. I've already sold about 7 here in a 2 month period which I'm grateful for. I also don...

He/She They

I'm having trouble with knowing what to put. I've tried throughout the article to avoid a he she or they by restructuring the sentence, but in some cases it doesn't work. what is correct or a better way to phrase something like this: Listen to your friend. Repeat back what you think they said, so th...
