Re: Life after Constant Content?
Wait.... is this the newbie guy who got added to a busy writer's pool for a few months a couple years back, made a few quick bucks, then released an ebook about how to get rich writing for Constant Content, proceeded to spam this very forum with tales of his ebook and success, before disappearing to...

Re: Steemit = Stolen Content
I've had issues with articles being scraped in the past too, but I haven't heard of Steem.it before now. I'm also going back to showing 33% of each article remaining in my catalog after seeing this.

Re: Has CC become super busy lately? :D
And yesterday I got what has to be a record for me - a catalog sale within four minutes of editor approval... I could get used to that ;) I think we could all get used to that! Completely awesome turn-around time. I had an unusually quiet August, but it seems that in the last two days things are pi...

Re: How to Cite Sources? End of Article?
I agree with Lysis if you're referencing a specific source throughout the article. However, I did have one client who preferred the references to be cited with a source number and the actual resource links added at the bottom. e.g. I am referencing something (1). Now I'm referencing something else (...

Re: Question about traffic and sales
Sales have dropped off dramatically for me too in the past month or so - but I was killing it through March/April/May. Lots were sales from various writer pools I'm in, some were private requests, and there were a decent number from general catalog sales. That's left me with a dismally low number of...

Re: Disappearing Public Pool Requests
Hi GhostCowgirl, Those public pool article requests are issued to various writers within the writer's pools, who often snap them up the moment they're issued. If you're following a link from an email and it goes nowhere, it means someone else has grabbed that request and it's sitting in their own qu...

For those of you using UpWork for a good portion of your income, might be time to start diversifying your income streams. Re: Not Receiving All Email Notifications?
Hi! This issue is an ongoing one. Others have commented about not getting all of their emails, and I've personally experienced this issue for many months now. Each time someone at CC responds to me, I am told the problem is on my end and to check my spam. Honestly, no one seems to know what the pro...

Not Receiving All Email Notifications?
I've noticed in the past few months that I don't always receive email notifications for new assignments loaded for specific teams. More recently, I'm also not receiving updates when articles are sold. In fact, if I don't log in and check the 'Requested Content' section or the global notification ico...

Re: How did I miss 90 new articles in one hour?
Is this related to the level they assign? For example, I have an assigned level of 2. Don't the writers with a level of 1 get first access? Does anybody know if we ever get our accounts reviewed to increase our level? I'm just asking because I also think the only time I ever catch good pool article...

Re: Sometimes you just have to shrug and laugh...
I've had articles rejected before for writing in UK English and the editor missed it. Obviously there are differences in punctuation and grammar between UK and US English, but when you're talking about financial terms that differ significantly between countries too, there's an even bigger discrepanc...

Re: How did I miss 90 new articles in one hour?
Yeah, me too! I'm also in a different time zone and often miss the big orders - but I've been grabbing them in the final countdown hours! So now I know who my competition is when it comes to picking up orders from the flakes! ...and I did it again. I missed them all - and it's not even 7.30am...

Re: Request Settings Page Questions
I thought it was just 6 - at least that's what I aimed for in each category initially to get the topics I wanted showing up on my profile. Edit: Okay, I just went and checked. I only have 6 articles under the categories 'Australia' and 'Weight Loss', but they were enough to turn those categories gre...
