Re: Staying on task
Wow! I'm definitely going for that "Write or Die" thingy! Thanks for sharing, jadedragon! These seem very helpful indeed!

Re: What is your CC "Eureka" moment?
Awesome thread! I only now noticed it! :) I found CC because I was looking for it! Well... so I like to think! In reality, I had been working for the wrong site for quite some time. No standards, no pay, rushing deadlines etc. But since I barely ever sleep, i thought even that would be better than d...

Re: Researching for an Article
entrepreneur.com has all kinds of advice for businesses. I don't think I know of any other site for this topic, though!

Re: Holiday articles?
Hello! :) I was actually thinking about the same thing, but I decided not to submit any holiday-related articles since I didn't have any ready. I would suppose that the editors give priority to seasonal articles since they hae a limited lifespan and they are more likely to sell during this month, bu...

Re: Researching for an Article
Hello! I thought I 'd chime in, since I have written articles on a variety of topics, most of which I had no idea about. I agree with jellygator that nobody should trust websites whose sole purpose is to sell, as there is a good chance the information they provide are inaccurate or deliberately fals...

Re: Spammer in the forum
I'm not sure if this is the proper place to report this, but there's a spammer in the writer's forum and it's annoying. This is the user's profile [spammer account deleted] Would CC please do something about it? Also, how should I report this next time? Thanks, Sarah Actually, there's a few of them...

Re: How long a sentence is too long?
Thank you, DennyK, I already submitted the second article and it was accepted too! :) I guess it's just a matter of getting the hang of it, as different sites have different requirements. I used to get assignments from Freelancer, so my writing pretty much depended on the type of assignment I had to...

Re: Hello at last
Hi All, I joined Constant Content about 2 years ago but have only just started writing on the site. I have written for Helium before and have been writing in various guises since childhood. I am hoping to make a reasonable income - eventually - but I don't expect to make a great deal until I've got...

Re: Resubmitted?
Well... after you submit an article, there's not much you can do other than wait... My articles took 12 days to be reviewed (and rejected!). When I resubmitted one of them, it got accepted within 2 days! I guess we can't really know when our articles will be reviewed. As far as I'm concerned, I will...

Re: Hello from me too!
Hello undercoverwaitress! Nice to meet you! Advive is always welcome! I've tried tutoring for a few years and it was indeed a completely different experience. However, one my biggest problems in this field is my inherent lack of internal structure. In other words, I'm a complete mess without a rigid...

Re: How long a sentence is too long?
Just a quick update! The article I resubmitted has been accepted! :) I'm really excited about it because I thought that maybe resubmitting a rejected article wasn't such a good idea! It's really so sweet to see that short message that says "Your article has been accepted" instead of that l...

Hello from me too!
Hello! :) Newbie from Athens, Greece here! I've already posted something on the forum, but I thought I should introduce myself properly! I'm Marina, 26, and I'm an English teacher, but I really suck at it because I just can't seem to be able to say "no" to those cute little mosters, so I d...

Re: How long a sentence is too long?
Wow! Thank you Celeste! This tip seems practical enough for me to implement, although I think I might have to raise the percentage a bit! I'll start with your suggested 30% and work it up from there. My two first articles came back rejected and I was actually relieved that they did because i would h...

How long a sentence is too long?
Hello! :) I am a newbie here on CC but I have been writing articles for two years now. While I consider myself a decent writer, I have trouble with keeping my sentences manageable. I mean I try to keep them well-structured and use the appropriate conjunctions; however, they always come out too long,...
