Re: What to write about?

I would try to do both. Continue with some articles about what you know, but try a few other articles too. With the internet it is not hard to study and research a subject and write a good article. Just be sure to read a few sources for information and check facts. :D

Re: Edit Keywords?

I have had noticed this problem too. I don't know why it would be disabled as people finding the articles would be a benefit to everyone. I don't think they have the extra time to approve keywords. I think it's more likely that it is a bug they need to fix, perhaps since the new format system. I try...

Re: Does one have to include title and byline in Content Edi

In a recently submitted article I forgot to include the title and byline in the content box as I had previously been doing and Constant Content told me to include them in the content box (along with a minor correction I had to make).

Re: Changing price on article sold for use

I'm glad to know this isn't me. I noticed this after selling my first usage rights. I thought I was doing something wrong.

Re: New content submission system – easier to use and improv

I just figured out where that setting was in the new education section. Thanks. I changed it, but they still look the same. Perhaps it takes a little while to update the change?

Re: New content submission system – easier to use and improv

I just had my first article accepted with the new system. It seems to have worked fine, but the amount of the article that is showing in the preview box is less than 1/3 of the article.

Re: What book do you recommend for better writing?

Strunk and White's Elements of Style is certainly a great standard that has stood the test of time. I review it every now and then, but it can be a bit dry. Two others that I recommend that are fun and encouraging to read, yet still great resources are, "Woe is I" and "Eats, Shoots, a...

Re: How to Sell More Articles

The trick would be to write about a current event (one that will be remembered) regarding the larger picture of what that event or statement made might mean for the future. This bigger picture idea would mean that the article would still be relevant down the line. People still talk about turning poi...

Re: Question about Format - Healthy snacks

Since this is the "Author Exchange" and it seemed no one knew the answer from the views this recieved, I thought I would let everyone know the article was accepted. It required a minor tweek first, but the parentheses which was my concern was fine. :D

Question about Format - Healthy snacks

Hi Everyone, I am working on an article and I want to list several items and their calorie count. I would like to try to avoid resubmitting and I'm wondering which way to format it. Here is an example of how I have most of it right now. 10 Fruits 1 medium apple (80-90), 1 pear (100), grapes 1 cup (6...

Article sold

Hello everyone, I apreciate how helpful everyone is in the forums. I recently sold an article (yay). I've tried to read a lot in the forums to keep from asking the same things again. Someone mentioned about a purchaser not giving them credit on a site when they had not purchased full rights. I also ...

Re: Categories

I am glad to hear that about the articles you've seen. I also think you make a great point and I agree with your suggestion. It would be better to call it marriage and divorce and it might even increase article sales.

Re: Categories

I appreciate your response. I still think that there should be a marriage caterory if there is a divorce catergory. I suppose I could such and article in family and then use marriage keywords.
Thanks again for you help.
