Writer's Pool/Big Orders Issue

Hi, After a long absence from the site I responded to the email sent out by CC asking for help fulfilling the oursranding orders. I have written for the large Standing Request orders before but not used the Writer's Pool system. I can see the projects under the My Projects tab and can claim articles...

Re: Articles for standing requests released.

Articles for the standing requests seem to get "stuck" a lot. They don't always make it automatically into the next order either because they don't appear in the general pool when C-C search it to add the pre-existing articles. I've had to email support on numerous occasions to have pieces...

Re: Sold My First Article - Can I Write it Again?

Hi Kaytee, I think if you've bothered to do the research on a particular topic for an article and you have sold it, you should definitely rewrite it and fill the void so you can get another sale. It also means your research isn't going to waste, and your second article will probably be written more...

Re: Articles for standing requests released.

All articles submitted to requests - including standing requests - go into the general pool after 3 days or so. The energy/mobile tech/credit card requests aren't solely for the bulk orders, they're topics that sell well. When the next bulk energy order comes in, CC will automatically add existing, ...

Re: Sold My First Article - Can I Write it Again?

Covering the same topic is fine, but it's usually better to find a slightly different angle, as customers buying for full rights want unique content and so it's slightly unethical to try and duplicate. Also, you risk plagiarising yourself accidentally if trying to discuss the same topic in the same ...

Re: Erroneous information in sold article

When there is a health or safety issue I always add a disclaimer, and would refuse a job if it went against my principles or I believed that it would cause harm. (Such as being asked to write a piece about why homeopathy is better at treating cancer than chemotherapy. I tried to discuss turning it i...

Re: water damage restoration & wheat allergies

I trust some but not others. EG 'Rita' has been there for months and months though she is going down the page, and I am not convinced. But 'Dogs', another perennial, may have some truth in it: I sold a couple of Dog articles anyway. I noticed "rita" and just hoped that it was a Hayworth f...

Re: water damage restoration & wheat allergies

Write some articles about water damage restoration for people with wheat allergies, you'll make a killing. ;)

'Gluten-free snacks to help maintain your energy levels when restoring your water-damaged property'

I shouldn't kid, someone's probably written that already.

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday

I guess perhaps supply outstripped demand this time, as I had a couple of insurance articles submitted at around 8pm according to the system (approx 38hrs ago), which are still in the review queue. I don't envy the editors having to read a few hundred in such a short time though, and who knows they ...

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday

Have you filled the order or do you still require a few more? I've submitted a couple that have been awaiting review for 24 hrs, but may have a chance to add to that before the 10:00 PST deadline if it will help.

Re: Insurance and Credit Card Articles Needed For Monday

I've only been at this for a few months...are these big rush orders an ongoing thing? Or just a short (and very exciting) opportunity? I guess that depends if we can keep up with the demand! As long as the quality of our work remains high and we can continue to provide interesting articles on uniqu...

Re: More articles needed on car, home and life insurance

With one of the bulk energy orders a couple of requests ago, they specifically asked for articles suitable for the UK market. I followed up with another couple of UK-slanted pieces (metric volumes and GBP projected savings) which sold the next time the request was put out, although it wasn't listed ...

Re: Is there a place to reference your website?

A customer contacting an author for work outside of CC is prohibited, so I would imagine that advertising our personal websites would be discouraged.

Re: Getting Approved for?

I believe it's to do with the Writer's Pools, but may be wrong. They have been specially approved to write on topics within those categories. You can only be invited to join the Writer's Pools once you have submitted a number of articles without rejections.
