I applied to a few of the pools over a week ago. They still say "Waiting."

Re: Still More Theft
I agree. These people are just pathetic. I found these because I was going to take down two of the articles from here to submit somewhere else. I thought I better run them through Copyscape first to make sure they had not been scraped. Sure enough, there they were. I'm pretty new to the whole filing...

Still More Theft
I found 3 of my articles at this site: http://www.obusiness.info/ Unfortunately, there is no way to contact the domain owner on the website that I could find. Through a little investigating, I found that the owner's info is protected by http://whoisprotectservice.net/index.html. I went to their site...

Re: STOLEN Content Alert
Thanks Sherry! Yeah, I noticed he was moderating comments. I recognized a lot of the articles from here. I messaged Eric about it also. He told me to file a DMCA complaint with the ISP (Network Solutions). I had sent the adminstrator at Network Solutions a basic note, but may have to go ahead and fi...

Re: STOLEN Content Alert
I left two nice comments on the guy's site. I notice he removed my comments, but none of the articles. I just sent a message to the ISP administrator. Thanks!

Re: Question
Technically, I think even a new writer with no approved articles can submit to a request. If you already have a couple approved, you should be fine. I just suggested holding off if none of them had been approved yet because alot of new writers here tend to get over-anxious and submit a bunch of arti...

Re: Question
Jenna, Welcome to CC! I am assuming those 6 articles have been approved. If so, you can submit to public requests at any time. They will undergo the same approval process. When you fill out the submission form, there is a section at the top where you select if it is for a public request, for a priva...

Re: STOLEN Content Alert
I can't usually make heads or tails out of most of that technical stuff, but here is part of what I found: I suppose one would contact GoDaddy? Re: STOLEN Content Alert
Yep, I found one of mine there. I recognize many on there as being recent articles added here...so much for the extra measures that were taken to protect our articles...I guess someone has yet again found a way around it (sigh...some people are so pathetic). Oh well, I contacted support. I know they...

Re: Important re: excerpt
Hi Hannah! The only way you can copy and paste an article is if you are in the editing portion of your own article. Articles as the clients see them cannot be copy and pasted. But, as previously stated, whether you post the whole article or not is up to you. I thought much like you in the beginning,...

Re: Important re: excerpt
I'm the one who told you that back a few months ago Hannah. :-) If it is a mistake, I certainly haven't suffered from it! I know many of the top-selling authors here also post the entire article. I started out only posting a third. I haven't gone back to change all of those from early on...but most ...
