Short Summary

I am trying to resubmit an article. Everytime I try to save the short summary, it disappears. I tried to let the editor know, but it was kicked back for no short summary. Anyone have any ideas about what is going on?

Re: Low balling articles

There is something here on CC for everyone, even low-ballers. I have sold several articles for $7. That is not what I had originally listed them for, but they had sat there for over a year and $4 buys me a pack of cheap diapers. I would just as well get those old articles out of there. They didn't t...

Re: Difficulty with the Widget

It may be that you are trying to view the widget with an older version of explorer, or another browser. I had a compatability problem with mine. It looks great with the newest ie, but when I looked at it in the compatability mode, the widget was all blue where the article listing should be.

Re: How much are we worth?

Things might have changed since I joined up, or I might have read the instructions wrong, but it used to be that you had to have five sales to qualify for private requests. When you went to submit an article for private request, you would be blocked if you didn't have enough sales. Thanks Celeste fo...

Re: How much are we worth?

If you must know, I am the person that sold two articles for four dollars. I recieved two offers on my articles for four dollars. At first, it really ticked me off. I know my time is worth more than that. I've been under the weather and not done much with my writing this month. But, I got to thinkin...

Re: Transplanted New Yorker Living in the South

Hello from a transplanted Southerner living in NY. Where in the South did you end up? I'm from Alabama, sweet home *sigh*. Anyway, I've just started submitting articles in openoffice. I haven't had any problems getting them approved. Just remember to "save as" in .doc before you start your...

Re: The review

I think being an avid reader helps quite a bit. You are constantly digesting professionally written material. Just a thought.

Re: $1 for an Article???

I'm confused. I thought I read somewhere on here that five dollars was the minimum. As far as going cheap, I am taking best offers until I sell my five and can do private requests. It is less than the article deserves, but I have an ulterior motive.

Re: Production

Ha! That's the same thing that is happening to me. If I'm waiting for an article to review, I can't seem to write anything else. Maybe I don't want to invest to much time, until it starts paying off a little more. But, it won't pay off any more until I write more articles. I did get over a little hu...

Production

I figured out that I have to write two articles a day, six days a week to meet my financial goals. What kind of production schedule do ya'll keep?

Re: Recently Added Content

I don't know, Celeste. My most recent article was on a tax deduction and I didn't see any others on personal finance. I'm not fussing, I'm just trying to figure out the system.

Debbie, that is a good idea.

Recently Added Content

Hello All,
I'm wondering about the recently added content on the home page. It seems like sometimes my approved article lands there and sometimes it doesn't. What's up with that?
Thanks,
April

Re: Yeah! First Sale!

Yes, that is a great feeling. I'm so pumped. I just finished and submitted another article. This has been so motivational. I've completed the first draft of a short story and outlined a science fiction novel. This has been such a confidence booster.
