Re: two names?

I've wondered about the same thing. I use my real name on CC but I've written for some revenue share sites under a pen name, and I'd like to sell some of those articles on CC for usage rights. I've been wondering if I could open another account under my pen name... but I think you'd have to have a s...

Re: Making lots of stupid mistakes! Brain freeze?

Changing the font is a great idea, thanks... and I'm also going to leave the articles for a few days or even a week and re-read them to see if I can spot more mistakes!

Making lots of stupid mistakes! Brain freeze?

I'm getting lots of articles returned/rejected for small grammar and spelling mistakes , stuff I really should have noticed. I always proofread my articles several times but for some reason I'm suddenly submitting articles with lots of stupid mistakes. Does this ever happen to anyone else? Do I need...

Re: REPEATED REJECTIONS

One of the reasons I sell my articles on CC is that its editorial standards are higher than anywhere else I have ever come across. (Ezine? You're joking, right?) My first 2 or 3 articles were either rejected or returned with a comment, and at first I was surprised (even upset) because I thought the ...

Wow my article sold fast!

5.33 pm today: article accepted on CC. 6.23 pm today: same article sold for full rights! I guess it's because it went on the front page under "latest content added" and some buyer just came and picked it up right away. So do buyers often come and buy whatever they see on the home page unde...

Re: Another byline question

Thanks for the advice. I'm now thinking I should include my byline in every article... thanks!

Another byline question

Should I always include a byline? I haven't for some articles, and I think I've even forgotten it a couple of times. If a customer buys the article for full rights, I guess they just remove the byline if they want to? I have included my byline in some articles, especially if I sell previously publis...

Re: Southeast Asia, South East Asia or South-East Asia

Thanks! I think South East Asia is the British way to spell it.

Southeast Asia, South East Asia or South-East Asia

So I'm slightly confused about how to spell Southeast Asia. I usually write in UK English and I had thought it's South-East Asia, but I've also seen South East Asia, Southeast Asia and even southeast Asia. Help! Thanks.

Re: Insulting Offers

I'm so happy I found this thread, the same guy has been offering me $3 for a number of articles, all between 400 and 800 words. I keep rejecting the offers. I only checked the offer box as another buyer asked for those holistic therapy articles and asked the writers to make sure they accept offers. ...

Question about a public request "Unique European countries"

Hi, I'm wondering about the wording in the public request "Unique European countries descriptions". It says "Looking for affordable Travel guide for 50 European countries, for each 400 words. Please submit your bid." So, basically we should submit a bid for a total of 50 articles...
