Re: Change Title While Under Review
I have an article under review and I would like to change the title before it gets reviewed. When I pull the article up to edit it, it does not allow me to change the title. Also, there is no space at the bottom of the page to send a note to the reviewers. Thank you. You'll need to delete the artic...

Re: "Three Strikes You're Out?"
I've had more than 3 rejections too -- mostly for minor things like a misplaced comma, a typo, or some other silly mistake. However, I believe the CC editors don't count minor errors or slips in the 3-strikes-and-you're-out rule. If they see that you have potential and you're generally submitting go...

Re: "Three Strikes You're Out?"
You'll find this in the Writer Application page at http://www.constant-content.com/area/registerauthor.htm - third paragraph. "I understand that Constant Content reserves the rights to decline any work they feel does not meet their requirements. I am welcome to submit other work for approval ev...

Re: Newbie - need advice
CC does mention the three strikes rule thing, although I imagine most people don't really read TOS's in their entirety. It's stated in the author registration page at http://www.constant-content.com/area/registerauthor.htm - third paragraph. "I understand that Constant Content reserves the righ...

Re: Starting sentences with "But" (and other conjuncts)
Thanks for sharing your insights, jak and Lor. I agree that removing the "But" and the "And" will still make the copy read perfectly, but there are occasions when doing that can lessen the impact of what you're trying to convey. As I mentioned in another post, I've had articles a...

Starting sentences with "But" (and other conjuncts)
As someone whose article got rejected recently for starting two sentences with the conjunct "but", I've been digging around for information if it really is grammatically incorrect to do so and if it should be avoided altogether. I'm taking a grammar lab class as part of a copyediting certi...

Re: Guess the comma problem
HI Turns out the comma problem was in this sentence: 'But they need more regular maintenance than a stone patio to keep them in good condition [,] and they’re unlikely to last as long. Couldn't see it myself, but they are right I guess. However, I resubmitted the article before I read your (Jak) po...

Re: how does theft after sale work
CC refunds the customer and the amount is taken from your account (the 65% of the price). This happened to me a couple of weeks ago - the buyer found that the excerpt was posted somewhere after he bought my article. Really ticked me off. The thief was hiding behind a domain protection service so I c...

For WordGypsy - your article stolen
Hi, WG. Your article, "Shopping for Inflatable Watercraft", is at http://www.picturepeoplecoupon.com/shopping-for-inflatable-watercraft-2/ - I know this guy's a thief because he had stolen my article too. I mentioned finding your article there too last week when I wrote to Eric. I filed a ...

Re: 3 article limit
Hi and welcome to CC. I think new writers are limited to 3 submissions. Once you have a certain number of articles accepted here, you'll be able to submit several at a time. It's also a good idea to wait and see if one article gets approved first before submitting any more (just so you don't risk ge...

Re: STOLEN Content Alert
Eric contacted me today because he found one of my articles copied on another site. I had posted a third of the article but apparently, it was still good enough for the guy to steal :x The guy has AdSense on his site so I quickly faxed a DMCA complaint to Google. Keeping my fingers crossed he'll get...

Re: STOLEN Content Alert
I left two nice comments on the guy's site. I notice he removed my comments, but none of the articles. I just sent a message to the ISP administrator. Thanks! I recognized one of the articles there as yours, April, so I tried writing a comment saying it was stolen from CC. Unfortunately, that sorry...

Re: STOLEN Content Alert
I don't understand why it says that it was last updated last Dec. though, when the majority of that content was added after. That last updated thingy would refer to when the domain registrant updated his domain info on GoDaddy. It could be he changed his admin, technical, contact, registrant info o...
