Address and Phone Number

Greetings All! My CC account has been idle for a few years - moving/renos/RL stuff - but I'm back and eager to brush up on the rules and dive back in! Several things have changed since I was on last, and I have a couple of questions... I tried searching for these topics already to no avail. Please f...

This is interesting....

Here in Canada, our spelling is basically British, but our slang and terminology is heavily influenced by America.

So.... I think what had confused me at first was that I thought that the whole "if it has appeared anywhere else you can't ask for unique or full rights" rule meant that LEGALLY, once something had appeared anywhere, full rights couldn't go to anyone for LEGAL reasons. Now, I think what yo...

Thank you, jak! I tried using the search function on the forum, but searching for words like "usage" and "edit price" gets ZILLIONS of results! LOL! Now, though, I'm confused. I thought that now that I had sold it for usage and it has been published on the web out there somewhere...

Wow!
I also just had my first sale - and it was also for usage. I just went in and edited the exclusive and unique prices to N/A.
This is correct, yes?

I have to admit, I love proofreading! The only articles I've ever found frustrating and infuriating to proofread ended up being articles I hadn't wanted to write in the first place. By sticking to subjects I enjoy, I've eliminated that problem. I do have to give it a couple of days, usually, between...

Congrats!

My mini-laptop (eee-pc by asus) came preloaded with Linux (Xandros I think) and I LOVE it.

Boots up in about 20 seconds.

My desktop computer is Windows XP and I find I avoid using that computer!

Sounds like a great idea to me!

Although........could a customer just register as an Author and gain access to it?

Maybe I'm being paranoid.

This is VERY helpful, as I was taught in school to write in "passive voice" (though I didn't know what it was called). Passive voice was considered more "professional" and "educated". I have tried for many years to rid myself of it, but I find it is often how I think, t...

[quote="Ed"]How do you mitigate the un-ergonomic posture that the laptop requires?

The Toshiba is particularly unergonomic? I am not acquainted with it...

Thanks JD!

I bought a product that is both the glue and the clear finish. Decoupage...stuff. Don't remember the name, but it was just for decoupage and I got it at a craft store.

I have edited the post on my blog, so now it has a couple of pics of my desk!

Aah!

My problem is the only requestor I communicated with has taken down their request!

I will contact support to have them take away the " (1) " then.

Thanks, Jak!

Great site, Elizabeth!

I answered these questions on my blog.

My blog is also new, but not as nice as yours, Elizabeth! Is that a free template? Gorgeous! I have to learn how to spice stuff up.
