Literally at the End of the Road, Canso, Nova Scotia
Canso is a small town on the North East coast of Nova Scotia. It's on Chedebucto Bay approximately a four-hour drive from Halifax. The main industry was fishing and like many other communities the demise of the in shore fishery has had an effect on the local economy.

The tour "bus" made a sharp right turn and drove straight into the harbour. The guide didn't miss a beat; she stopped pointing out buildings and other landmarks and began pointing out ships. Up to this point it had been a pretty conventional tour.
