Strummer Savages Toronto
The poor trodden-on O"Keefe, normally the venue for opera and touring Broadway companies, never saw it coming. It was a bizarre choice when the planned site for the Clash"s first visit to Toronto the Good became suddenly unavailable. Last-minute phone calls were made, and ticket-holders abruptly found themselves sitting in bolted-down pews of comfy chairs. The place has 3,200 seats (or had, until the Clash arrived).
