Writer Biography

I am a 39 y/o wife living in Maine with my husband, three daughters, three dogs, and a horse. By trade I am an EMT/firefighter. I have always written magazine articles, blogs, poems short stories, etc. for fun. In the near future, I would like to see myself landing steady part time work in order to fill my free time. I have recently retired as Chief of my department and now have more time to devote to my writing.

I do not have a bunch of degrees and certifications, but I have experience talking to people in a concise, informative, easy going way. I effectively convey this in my writing. I am looking for blogging and article content opportunities.

If you are looking for "natural" sounding blogs and articles filled with interesting facts that will keep a readers attention, give me a chance.

I use Open Office, but can use Word if necessary.
