I first gained an interest in writing in middle school when I wrote competitively for a group called Power of the Pen. Since then, I have actively pursued writing classes throughout high school and college to improve my writing skills, including screenwriting classes. I hold a BFA in Fibers/Textiles from the Savannah College of Art and Design where I specialized in dye processes, screenprinting and pattern design. I also filled my curriculum with a number of art history classes including Egyptian art and New York City art studies. After college, I got my TEFL certificate from a course that focused heavily on grammar.
I enjoy writing what I know, but I also love researching new things that interest me. Some of my favorite topics include fashion, beauty, visual arts, health, yoga, and pets, although I am always interested in broadening my horizon.
