A Nation Divided is the review of the book Rise to Rebellion, by Jeff Shaara. This book is a well written and researched historical novel that takes us into the minds of the founding fathers and crown loyalists. Divided by loyalties, and differences of ideals, the colonists, and those loyal King George and the empire, struggle to determine the destiny of their lives and of America. History has the ability to repeat itself and the parallels to the struggles we are faced with today, to those faced prior to the American Revolution, are uncanny. No matter what your political affiliation is this book is highly recommended reading.
