Constant Content

I just purchased about 5 different articles for my website, and I'm having trouble downloading them. I clicked "download", the download image came up, and it was working, but it never would complete the download. I waited on one of them for over an hour, and nothing.
I've never had this happen when I've tried to download anything. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
