Submitting Old Content from Personally Owned Dead Website

I've just been doing a content audit on a hard drive from a dead laptop. In addition to a number of articles that I never got around to recovering and posting, I found a huge amount of old content from websites I once owned that I long ago let die and took down.

I have checked all this content in Copyscape and it all passed. Is this content something I can submit to C-C? I don't want to get hit with rejections (or worse) for duplicate or unoriginal content, but it was all written by me, and has all passed Copyscape and thus shouldn't be anywhere else online. Am I safe to submit? Has anyone else had experience with anything like this?
