Any chance writers will be paid today? It's the third of August and the day is getting late.

Last month, I had to post my pay query several times before CC noticed that I had somehow been skipped. Hope that hasn't happened again.

If anyone knows anything, please advise. Thanks.

It seems I've been skipped too. I just thought it was a weekend thing and figured they'd get to it on Monday. I guess not.

Parts of Canada have a civic holiday today, so maybe that's the reason as CC is Canadian-run? Anyway, it isn't just you who has been skipped, so hopefully tomorrow!

They don't seem to pay out on Canadian holidays or weekends anymore. They are in vancouver (I think?) so it's 2pm? over there so the day's not over for them.

Yes, it is BC Day today in British Columbia (statutory holiday).
Payouts likely tomorrow.

Not loving this! I have bills due on the third, and now they're going to have hefty late fees added. There goes any small profit I may have realized from the sale of articles here.

If CC knew Monday was a Canadian holiday, why didn't they pay writers on the first?

We work hard to make CC look good. To be paid so late (again) is truly maddening.

I know it's frustrating, monkeypie, but from what I understand, CC promises payment the first week of each month, not the first of the month. From the Help page:

"Payment is made the first week of the beginning of each month. Customers' payments must be cleared before payment is made. Payments are made through Paypal to the account you provide us when you signup."

FYI August 3rd is a holiday in British Columbia (CC is headquartered in Victoria). July 1st was also a national holiday (Canada Day).

Unfortunately, lots of us got used to them paying on the first way back in the day whether it was a holiday, weekend, whatever. It hasn't been that way in a long time. Probably why some of the old timers think they missed their payment after the first.

...and now it's September 4th, and this oldtimer thinks she may have been overlooked on payday YET AGAIN.

Has anyone else received a September payment? Just wondering.

Sigh. September first was my birthday, and no CC payday for me.

This is the third month in a row that I've had to resort to forum posts in order to be paid for my work.

Am I the only one? I can't even say how frustrating this is, and I am NEVER at a loss for words!

Just emailed you details, but it doesn't look like you had any sales that fell into this pay period. Payments went out first thing Monday morning, a little bit before you made your first sale since last being paid.
