Need help w submission form: long & short summary, et al

In the new submission form, what's difference between long summary and short summary? I can't find any guidelines about the length of the long summary or what should be in it. Also, when I tried to Copy>Paste my article onto the submission form using a Mac, it didn't work. I can always type it manually. Also, when I Saved Draft, the question came up that I did not enter the length of the article. I saw no field to enter the word count.

I found the answer by looking more closely in the Forum. After I highlighted text and selected Copy>Paste, I put the cursor in the full-text section, hit Command + V and the text came up. Also the Long Summary came up automatically because a certain number of words seem to be chosen automatically.
